A beautiful wedding, and some game changer news

Tomorrow marks the one week anniversary of one of my best friend's first week of marriage. We were very fortunate to be able to go down to Frederick, VA to attend the wedding. Jason and Bella were part of the wedding party,(flower girl  and ring bearer).

Don't they look adorable?? I'm a sucker for little boys in dress jackets,  and little girls with little curls.

And the bride was absolutely breathtaking in what I thought was one of the prettiest wedding gowns I've ever seen.

We had a splendid weekend celebrating a beautiful new married couple.

Now I'll move on to our recent game changer news...Our move is off. Jay's job in Providence did not workout. Soooo, we will be staying here in Salem after all. I love the Maria VonTrapp quote from "The Sound of Music," "When God closes a door, somewhere He opens a window." I trust that this is the case for us, and in time we'll see!

Once the move was officially off, I decided it was time for us to buy a bed. Our platform frame had broke in the move, so we had been sleeping on just a mattress on the ground. I was waiting on a new frame until after our second move. But with that no longer happening I didn't have to wait any longer. We headed to ikea and chose a beautiful white iron frame.

I love it. I think it's very "Anne of Green Gables."

I'm going to have to wrap it up abruptly because my almost two year old is having her overtired meltdown. Good night!

  1. Sometimes it feels like not knowing exactly what the plan is going to be is almost the hardest part. Praying for you guys!

And I love the bed frame (and the yellow curtains above it! I'm such a sucker for yellow!)!
